明成化鬥彩荷塘鴛鴦藏文小盤 DOUCAI SMALL TRAY WITH LOTUS POND, MANDARIN DUCKS AND SANSKRIT PATTERN, MING DYNASTY, CHENGHUA REIGN

明代自永樂開始都會贈送最名貴的瓷器給西藏廟宇以表厚待保持互衛關係，成化承襲宣德青花五彩發展出鬥彩，作為最高級別禮贈加上藏文，是成化早期鬥彩的典範。

盤敞口, 淺壁弧形, 帶圈足。

外口沿繪有青線二道, 內壁口沿繪以梵文一圈作飾。

盤心底及盤外壁均以鬥彩繪有鴛鴦蓮池戲水圖案, 一片祥和吉祥之景。

盤底以青花書有「大明成化年製」楷書雙圈六字款。

明代成化官窯最大成就就是鬥彩燒製成功。

成化鬥彩胎薄體輕, 釉脂瑩潤, 色彩鮮艷, 畫面清淡雅逸。

成化時的官窯產品質量極其講究, 鬥彩三秋杯、高士杯、葡萄紋杯、嬰戲圖杯、天字罐等等, 均為絕代精品。

The biggest achievement of Chenghua reign’s Guan kilns in the Ming Dynasty was the successful firing of Doucai.

The body of the Chenghua reign’s Doucai are thin and light, with lustrous glaze, bright colors and light and elegant pictures.

The quality of the Guan kiln products in Chenghua reign was extremely particular. The Doucai Sanqiu Cup, Gaoshi Cup, Grape Pattern Cup, Baby Design Cup, Tianzi Jar, etc., were all excellent products.
